Kinship Circles
Grandmother Robin has been doing kinship circles in Sequim, Washington with community and families, and many have observed that the meaningful gathering is something that could also be done worldwide. Here's the concept:
Its a Saturday or Sunday 3 hour worship service, starting with prayer, an Elder (usually indigenous) sharing a story or teaching, then songs and drumming and a social hour with potluck healthy snacks.
You don't have to be an ordained minister to start one in your area. If you feel called to start a Kinship Circle aligned with CCOE, you should look into it.
Email infoatcoe@gmail.com and we'll send you the template. The only thing we ask is that you register so we can put your kinship circle on our map!
